New Zealand Science Teacher

News

We're Back!

Firstly, welcome to New Zealand Science Teacher online 2017.  You may well have noticed that updates have been in hiatus since the end of 2016.  This is all about to change!

NZASE would like to take the opportunity to thank APN -Ed's NZME team for the wonderful job they have done with publishing the magazine, over the last few years; in particular Melissa and Jaylan for the long hours they have put in on our behalf.  We are very proud of our magazine and intend to continue to provide our members with high quality material that is both informative and useful, and to encourage other Science Educators to join us!

We would like to welcome Matthew Balm as the new Editor of New Zealand Science Teacher, and we would like to encourage our readers to contribute their own material.

We will be holding a strategic planning meeting for NZST in the coming month.  The goal of the meeting is to establish a theme for the year and to develop a framework for the printed journal, which will be distributed to NZASE members in November.  As such, we are looking to hear from you!  What have you done in your teaching, research or other activities that would help other Science Educators?  What ideas do you have for investigation or themes in 2017?

Just drop us an e-mail including your submission and you may well see your ideas come to fruition, either on-line or in print!
